We were introduced to Palio’s by friends and have now visited 4 times this year. Each occasion we received a friendly greeting, were asked for drinks order and provided with menus promptly. Quality food and good service, obviously not as quick when the restaurant is very busy (as we found Saturday evenings). The staff have been attentive but it is relaxed and we have not felt pressured to leave after the meal even when we were the last. Chef seems to ‘know his stuff’ and prices are reasonable for the quality and quantity of the meals. Calves liver is to die for I have been informed! Well worth a visit and you can make up your own minds…

My friends and I visited Palio for my birthday, there were 8 of us and we only ordered main courses as we were heading off afterwards to the party. We were ignored for 20 minutes before someone asked us if we wanted drinks then our meal was almost 2 hours late. The staff rudely commented that we should be patient for good food but when it came it was nothing special and not exactly piping hot. We were also massively overcharged on our bill for stuff we didn’t have. I will NEVER eat here again and advise you not to either. I have never been so angry with a restaurant before to write a nasty review but here it is.

First choice for a meal in Tunbridge Wells. Great combination of food, atmosphere, service and value. Would not hesitate to recommend Palio whether for an informal supper or a special occasion.

Palio is the best restaurant even in Kent.I love Palio and I really enjoy to eat there. It’s the best place you can find in Tunbridge Wells. Please go to see that!
Terrific Italian restaurant – we dropped in for lunch and had wonderful pizzas (they’re BIG!)and a selection of starters that were truly delicious. Service was warm and efficient. Several tables were occupied by Italian families and couples who seemed to be having a drink and a chat. (One chap kept gently breaking intio song which was charming.)
Destined to become a family favourite!

I was introduced to this restaurant by friends and had a superb lunch and then fought my way through the snow to take my family.
What a great place. The food and service are wonderful. I had the seafood soup and seafood ravioli which was delicious. The portions are generous and every commented on how fresh and lovely their foods was. The only disappointment was that additional bread could not be ordered without an additional 10 minute wait which I do not understand.
If the standards remain, this will become one of the top favourite restaurants in T wells. Well done guys

We just had our Office Celebration this evening and what a great time we had. It was a themed evening Wigs or Hats, what we did not expect was for the management and staff to join in on the fun…they all wore hats and wigs….the Magician was a great touch and was such fun.
The food….well what can we say Excellent in every way and great attention to detail.
Thank you to everyone who made our evening such a great success.
