The service - even when they are busy and that is pretty much any time of the day - is consistently very good as is the food! It's quick, conveniently located, always have a table for two at short notice, and it's always good. It has the impression of a chain, I'm not sure if it is. It's clean, the waiting staff are enthusiastic and friendly, and there's always a conversational buzz in there on weekend evenings. It's good for kids too; we've been there with four kids and they've loved it. It's not posh or pretentious, but not tacky either. A good balance for a more casual dinner with family or friends. Improvements? A broader dessert selection would be good. If you're not made on chocolate, cheese, or sorbets/ice creams covered in liqueurs, there's practically no choice.
