As this is our ‘local’ this may be a tad biased – even so – the Hare (formerly The Greyhound) manages to provide great pub atmosphere with a reliable ‘gastropub’ style menu. The serving staff are hard working and always polite. The bar carries an extensive whisky selection and a changing parade of guest beers. Every time I’ve taken friends or colleagues they’ve always been impressed.
