Thorins is a fun place to watch the rugby, but they’ve recently re-decorted, and it’s shocking! An uncomfortable miss match of poor taste. Shame.

I went to Thorins recently with a friend of mine for sunday lunchand the food was magnificent. I had the ham hock terrine to start and my friend had the cured salmon gravadlax, both beautifully presented & exceptionally tasty.
For main course I opted for the aged roast beef that was served with the biggest yorkshire pudding that I have ever seen in my life. My friend had the steak with triple cooked chips, which was perfectly cooked to his requirement.
We finished off the meal with a vanilla cheesecake with summer fruit compote to share. All in all a wonderful experience, good food , friendly staff and a happy atmosphere. Will definately be visiting again.
